Over time, we form a container from the material of our past and our intuition for the future. The earthy acreage of our ancestors and our own material accumulation ground us and grind us. Moving carefully across lines of pattern into a trustworthy being, we still experience difficulty. Our discursive thoughts are noisy. What future enters our imagination? A fresh and generous one? A calculating and brutal one? Will we be able to transform the suffering around us, or merely tread cautiously, leaving the fragile people and earth in stasis?
It is crucial to pause, honor the sacred in each moment and each person for our shared life to be eased forward.
